Buffalo is a city for people who love food and drinks. New restaurants are always popping up and there are the best wing places in the world.

I had always been hesitant to go to Buffalo because if it's notorious cold weather, it's rust belt history and the Buffalo Bills, but a coworker's wedding finally forced me there and it exceeded my expectations. During the warmer months, Buffalo is quite green and lush. The people are friendly and there are some great dining options!

Buffalo, New York is a great part of the state to visit, especially in the summer months when the snow has thawed. There are tons of outdoor festivals, tours of the Frank Lloyd Wright homes in town, the Albright Knox Art Museum, a nice waterfront area, a small zoo, and of course, the chicken wings (The Anchor Bar is the classic but Duffs is pretty good too.). If you just want to poke around and people watch, head to Elmwood Street, which has a bunch of little shops, eateries, and green spaces.
