Beautiful city! One of the nicest little cities I've encountered in my travels. Perhaps not as exciting for those on short term tourst schedules but a great city to stay in for awhile if you are on a longer journey. It is affordable, feels safe and has some nice restaurants to enjoy.
Quiet old town, with plenty of historic architectures and churches. The walk by the river is a must-do for families.
It was amazing! Cheap, unique, modern and very Americanized! This place makes me so happy.
If you're looking for a foreign city to call home, consider Cuenca Ecuador. With it's mild weather, gorgeous architecture, friendly people, clean water and low cost of living, it's no wonder that expats are flocking to this colonial gem in South America.
