What a wonderful city. The local food is delicious. Also, the native fruits are to die for. The people of Medellin are the friendliest people I’ve ever met. The customer service skills of the people in managing are far more than perfect. No matter where you are, the view of the mountains is spectacular; Not to mention the weather is phenomenal.
The weather, landscapes of the city and surrounding areas, friendly people.
Incredible city, really laid back and easy to get around. Beautiful nature and amazing history.
I spent 2 weeks in Medellín in August. Medellín has the weather that everyone always dreams of. It never really varies, it's never too hot and it's definitely never cold. When it rains, it pours for a couple hours and then clears up. The metro and metro cable system is amazing and takes you anywhere you need to be. The buses aren't so bad either, although I never quite figured out the system. There aren't an abundance of things to do, but there are enough things to keep it interesting for a little while. Don't expect a huge amount of discussion about the history of the country - but do your own research beforehand. Parts of the city have drastically changed over the past few years and you might be surprised to see how much modern architecture there is and how many North American companies have swarmed there.
