Tokyo Narita Airport (NRT) information
Previously known as the New Tokyo International Airport, the Narita International Airport is the second busiest airport in Japan in terms of passenger traffic. This airport connects to a large number of cities across most continents and there are three main passenger terminals here - Terminal 3 generally houses the low-cost carriers and as such, the space is significantly smaller and the services, as well as facilities, are comparatively more basic. Travellers will be able to benefit from a wide variety of services here which include (but not limited to) luggage storage, shower rooms, children’s play area, prayer rooms and even an oxygen bar. WiFi is also available free of charge throughout the public and transit areas of the airport. While Business Class passengers will most likely have access to one of the airport lounges, Economy Class passengers may also access some for a nominal fee - you will then be able to enjoy complimentary refreshments and take advantage of shower facilities in some lounges. If you are looking for somewhere a little more comfortable and private, there are many hotels that offer an airport shuttle that will take you to and fro the airport and property - Hilton Tokyo Narita Airport Hotel, Richmond Hotel Narita and Hotel Nikko Narita just to name a few.
