Kaohsiung International Airport is located around 9km from the city centre of Kaohsiung. To get from the airport to the city, travellers can make use of the Kaohsiung MRT, which is located within the airport terminal itself. The Liuhe night market in Kaohsiung is one of the most popular in Taiwan. It opens daily from 6pm and is easily accessible by MRT.
