Travelling to and from New Chitose Airport to Sapporo’s city centre

The most comfortable way to get from New Chitose Airport to the city center (assuming that is where your hotel is located) is via the use of taxis - since the airport is located fairly far away, the ride should take at least an hour and it will cost you a whopping SGD 200 (USD 146). The most popular option would be to hop on the Rapid Airport Service train which will cost around SGD 20 (USD 14.50) - ten times cheaper than a taxi! There is also a regular service (which takes around 15 minutes) more for a bit less. Alternatively, the airport shuttle bus costs around S$13 (USD 9.40) but the journey will take roughly 90 minutes and is therefore not recommended for travellers who are rushing for time.
