Travelling to and from Cape Town International Airport to Cape Town’s city centre
The Cape Town International Airport is located around 22km away from the city center and one of the most convenient way to get there is via the use of the MyCiti Airport Shuttle Service - the station is located outside the arrivals terminal and clear signages are around the airport to help you locate this entrance. Once you are there, kindly note that the buses run every 20 minutes and the journey should take no more than 30 minutes (unless there is heavy traffic) - it should not cost more than SGD 6 (USD 4.40). If you wish to save on transportation, purchase a myconnect card and top-up money into the card and the same ride should only cost you half as much. Alternatively, licensed taxis operate outside the arrivals area and while the ride should take you roughly the same duration, it will cost you at least SGD 37 (USD 27.30).
