UNESCO World Heritage Zone and Armenian Street

From Penang International Airport, take Route 6 or Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah. From there, turn to Tiun Dr. Lom Chong Eu Highway/Route 3113. Exit to George Town from Route 6 then continue to Route 3113. Head to Lebuh Lintang until you reach UNESCO World Heritage Site Buffer Zone. It is an estimated 25-minute trip from the airport. The zone is located near the city centre, just a two-minute drive northeast of Jalan Penang toward Lorong Bertam.
Kek Lok Si-Temple of Supreme Bliss
The largest Buddhist temple in South-East Asia, Kek Lok Si-Temple of Pure Bliss is a structure built on a hillside. It has different Buddha images displayed in the main complex of the temple.
A 29-minute drive from Penang Airport, you may head south and drive to Jalan Tun Dr Awang/Route 231. Take a sharp left onto Jalan Dato Ismail Hashim/P6 then right to Jalan Paya Terubong/Route 220. Take another left to Jalan Balik Pulau and another left going to Kek Lok Si-Temple. If coming from the central business district of Penang, allot 30 minutes for driving, via Jalan Ayer Itam, via Lorong Batu Lancang, or via Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu Hwy/Route 3113.
Penang Durian Farm

From the airport, take the Jalan Sultan Azlah Shah/Route 6. Head to P16 to Jalan Sungai Rusa/Jalan Tanjung Bungah/Route 6 in Taman Manggis Indah. Drive left to Jalan Sungai Rusa. Continue until you reach Bao Sheng Durian Farm located on the left. The durian farm is approximately a one-hour drive from the central business district, via P14 and Route 6.
