Drivers should, however, be warned that traffic could really be worse es-pecially during rush hours with motorbikes driving on the right. Motorcycles also often disregard traffic lights and signals. Be prepared with your brakes and try not to hit anything with the vehicle especially in heavy vehicle jams. A dose of patience will get a long way when driving a vehicle in Hanoi.
