Port Protection Seaplane Base is a public, state owned airport that serves and is situated in Port Protection, a community in the Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area of the U.S. state of Alaska. It can be found on the map with the coordinates 56°19′44″N 133°36′36″W. It is owned by the State of Alaska DOT&PF - Southeast Region and is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorised it as a general aviation facility.
The community of Port Protection is a census-designated place (CDP) in Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area, Alaska, United States. Its population was 63, as per the 2000 census. It has a total area of 4.6 square miles (12 square kilometres), of which, 4.5 square miles (12 square kilometres) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 square kilometres) of it (2.61%) is water.

Port Protection Seaplane Base has one seaplane landing area designated NW/SE with a water surface that measures 4,000 by 1,000 feet (1,219 x 305 metres). It had 330 aircraft operations in 2006, with an average of 27 per month: 91% air taxi and 9% general aviation. At present, it has one airline that serves scheduled passenger service: Taquan Air, which flies to and from Ketchikan Harbor Seaplane Base in the harbour of Ketchikan, also in Alaska.
