Incheon International Airport, Seoul

Seoul Incheon International Airport is South Korea's pride and joy. It was recognised as the world’s best airport for nine years in a row by the Airports Council. Incheon International Airport endeavours to lead in airport operational performance and is set to become a global hub. Apart from international flights, Incheon Airport serves domestic flights to Busan, Daegu and Jeju daily.

There are 2 passenger terminals in this multi-storey airport; the one at the arrival hall occupies 2 floors while the one in the departure hall is a single storey. Passengers transferring to another flight can board the Shuttle Train to commute between terminals every 5 minutes.

The airport is a transit passenger’s delight with a host of facilities and services on hand to satisfy his every need. Pay an entry fee into the Hub Lounge and enjoy a mini buffet, alcohol, free access to the Internet and WiFi, entertainment and print and fax services. Freshen up at the Shower Room at the passenger terminals and concourse using the bathing facilities and bath accessories like towel, soap and hair dryers provided for free! Park the children at Kidszone which conveniently houses a playroom, nursing room and infant care facilities. In the meantime, parents can rest, relax and have a snack at the Rest & Relax zone, Internet zone or the Cafeteria and Snack bar. Nail art, facial care and pedicure services are available for ladies who want to arrive at their destination looking pretty. Or drop in at the Massage bar to soothe those aching travel-weary muscles. There are also tours planned for transit passengers.

Shopping can only be fun with the array of clothes, accessories, timepieces, eyewear and even food items available at The Shilla or Lotte duty-free stores. The latter is one of the largest shopping mall chains in Korea.

Local delights await at the multiple restaurants, food courts and cafes in the airport. Numerous banks are stationed inside the airport to serve your banking and foreign currency exchange needs. Experience Korea’s culture by visiting the various galleries and museums. Mark the end of your airport exploration adventures with a photo capturing “Flying to the Future”, a sculpture that represents and symbolises the airport’s vision as the key future travel hub of the world.

Travellers hoping to catch a wink while on transit are most likely to opt for a stay at the Hyatt Regency Incheon Hotel, which is a mere 0.8km away from the airport.
