Hagerstown Airport

Hagerstown Regional Airport is a public airport owned and operated by Washington County, serving Hagerstown in Maryland, United States. Also known as Richard A. Henson Field, the airport is situated four nautical miles (five miles; seven kilometres) north of the central business district of Hagerstown, approximately one mile or 800 metres from the Maryland/Pennsylvania border. Residing at an elevation of 703 feet or 214 metres above mean sea level, Hagerstown Regional Airport in Western Maryland can be located on the map with the coordinates 39°42′31″N 077°43′35″W. Federal Aviation Administration recorded 1,696 passenger boarding or enplanements for the airport in 2008, 13,365 in 2009, and 10,665 in 2010, with the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011-2015 categorising it as a general aviation airport (based on the 2008 numbers).


Hagerstown Regional Airport has a terminal building which provides for basic check-in, departure, and arrival needs of the passengers. Driving hide 

Driving to the airport from downtown Hagerstown takes approximately 15 minutes. Hagerstown Regional Airport is situated directly off Interstate 81 and U.S. Route 11. Interstate 70, five miles or eight kilometres south of the airport, can also be taken, which is accessible via Interstate 81.
