Why Fly With Air Namibia

How to Check In

Queuing at busy check-in counters will no longer be a problem, thanks to Air Namibia’s online self check-in system. No more waiting in long lines if you are in possession of an electronic ticket bought online or through a ticketing agent – all you have to do is go straight to the online self check-in facility on the airline’s website, and check yourself in from the convenience of your own home or office. Once done, you can now go straight thorough Immigration and Security Control to the boarding gate with your printed boarding pass and passport. This also lets you proceed to the Air Namibia Baggage Drop off counter for self check-in passenger, drop your luggage there, and head to your boarding gate.

Baggage Allowance & Fees

Air Namibia offers its passengers a generous free hand baggage allowance, ranging from two pieces of hand baggage with max weight of 10kg each and max size of 55cm x 38cm x 20cm for Business Class; one piece of hand baggage with max weight of 10kg and max sixe of 55cm x 38cm x 20cm for Economy Class – including an overcoat, umbrella or walking stick, a hand bag, one small camera, one small laptop, a fully collapsible wheelchair, and a reasonable amount of reading material. Passengers are also allowed non-metallic nail files and syringes or needles for personal use – provided that they are accompanied by the medication in its original labelled container and must have needle guard in place. General baggage allowance for checked baggage also varies for Economy Class and Business Class. Business Class passengers have an allowance of two pieces of 32kg each with dimensions (L+W+H) not exceeding 158cm for each bag.
