Air Contractors Flights

Irish-based airline, Air Contractors, is a freight and passenger airline that operates throughout Europe and also flies to certain Asian and American cities. More well-known as a freight service, Air Contractors have major integrators such as FedEx Feeder and DHL Express, the largest courier services in the world! Although it has been flying since 1972, passenger services only began in 2010, which makes it relatively new in the market. Yet, it has already managed to secure its footing in the Irish market, and also contracts planes from Aer Lingus for greater passenger service.

Why fly with Air Contractors

Check-in

Generally, the check-in counter opens 2 hours prior to departure and closes 45 minutes before flight. To save the hassle of queueing up, online check-in services are also available, where travellers can check in their baggage at a separate queue, usually faster. Air Contractors allow boarding via the magnetic strip tickets or the e-tickets. With a contract to share planes with Aer Lingus, do not be confused if your flight ticket differs from a normal Air Contractors code. This shared service allows increased frequency for flights to New York and Boston.

Seating

Being the only passenger airline in Ireland, Air Contractors is able to bring you to various places in Ireland comfortably. The Business Class seats have a pitch of 60 inches in the 2 by 2 configuration and the Economy Class seats have a pitch of 31-32 inches in a 3 by 3 layout. Those requiring more leg room can request for seats at the emergency rows or along the single aisle. All long-haul flights have an in-flight on-demand entertainment system, from movies to music, catering to travellers from all walks of life.
